How Everything Else Is Priced
Every job beyond the $199 sweep is priced by a free written estimate, before any work starts. We look at the chimney, we put the scope and the price on paper, and you decide. No work begins until you have approved it.
That also means no surprise add-ons. If we get into a repair and find something we did not expect, we stop, show it to you, and give you a revised estimate to approve or decline. The price you agreed to is the price you pay — anything beyond it is your call, not ours.

Why We Do Not Quote Repairs Sight-Unseen
People call and ask what a repair costs, and we understand why — nobody likes calling a contractor blind. But after 26+ years in this trade we can tell you honestly: no two chimneys fail the same way. Two houses on the same Portland street can look identical from the curb and need completely different work up top.
A number thrown out over the phone is either padded to protect the contractor or lowballed to win the job — and either way it is not honest. We would rather look first, diagnose properly, and quote the actual work. A thorough chimney inspection is how we get there.
